ANTWERP DOCKS

 

The docks are to the north of the city and they cover a vast area. The old docks are within walking distance from the city centre just walk along the side of the river in a northerly direction, the first one you come to is Bonaparte Dok and behind it is Willem Dok. If you carry on along the road and bear right along Amsterdamstraat you will come to Londenburg (London Bridge), at certain times during the summer months dock cruses start from here aboard the Flandria, check for times at their office  on Steenplein by the raised walkway, or log on to their web site www.flandria.nu (Dutch only) Below are some pictures taken from one such cruise.
