This Bar although not in Antwerp it's some 20 Km to the north east on the N12 but it's well worth the journey to visit. This is what we would call the brewery tap for the world famous Westmalle Trappist beers. The Abbey and brewery are on the other side of the road but they are not open to the public. Situated by the side of the main road you cannot miss it, it is very smart inside and there is also a large outdoor seating area. The two main beers are of course Westmalle Double at 7.0% and triple at 9.5% they are usually available on draught and in bottle, they also serve the double with grenadine. Other beers are available but why would you want to drink them. food is served all day.
